| yeah...long time since ive written anything in here...

| well, kiddies, im back! yeah...soo....new shtuff....uhmm...oh yeah, if you LOVE acting like a jackass in front of people just to freak 'em out.... then i have a club-thing for you! jon kelly and i have made the Jackass Club-Thing, the awesome thing about this club, is that we will all make a list of things that are incredibly stupid, and horribly funny to watch that are all things that you can pick from to perform. now, in order to get credit for the jackass act that you put on, at least 1 (2 is preferable) of the other members must be an eye-witness. oh, and another thing, the week that you join, you HAVE TO perform an act of THE CLUB's choice! or else you cant be in it. now, we havent decided on whether we are doing it for money or not, but if we do, you will earn either a dollar per person that sees you do the act, or you will earn a dollar for everyone in the club at the time who was informed that you would be performing a stunt, but if you say that you will, but never do, then you owe each of the people who you told that you were going to do it a dollar. but all of that is only if we decide that it is for money....if you want to join, IM me at my sn "anheivmesra" or text or call my phone. if you join b4 we have a list, we might not make you to a stunt of our choice...<PERK

| Comeback queen
Courtney Kupets made a stunning debut on the international gymnastics scene with her victory in the uneven bars at the 2002 World Championships, which ended Russian Svetlana Khorkina's run of five consecutive titles. Kupets followed that up by winning the U.S. all-around title in 2003, and seemed primed for big things at Worlds that year in her first international all-around competition. But a ruptured left Achilles' tendon sidelined her after the preliminaries and required surgery. Just over nine months later, Kupets successfully defended her national championship -- tying with Carly Patterson. On June 27, Kupets essentially secured a spot in Athens by winning the U.S. Trials.

After winning her world title, Kupets appeared in Sports Illustrated's "Faces in the Crowd" on Dec. 6, 2002. Her victory proved she can compete on the world stage. In Athens, Kupets and Patterson will attempt to become the first American female all-around medalists since Shannon Miller took silver at the 1992 Barcelona Games. Mary Lou Retton won the only all-around gold for the U.S. in 1984.
ASAP
Kupets blew out her Achilles' tendon on Aug. 19 -- one year to the day before the women's individual all-around in Athens. Friends tried to convince her to stay for the rest of the World Championships to watch her teammates and stand with the team on the podium if the team won. But Kupets wanted to have surgery as soon as possible and left the next day. At the airport, watching on TV as her teammates received their gold medals, she cried out of frustration.
Determined
Within a week of returning home, Kupets had surgery. Doctors told her the recovery time could last more than a year, but Kupets was determined to be ready for the U.S. Olympic selection process. To stay in shape, Kupets lifted weights, swung on bars and swam. After three months, she was allowed to walk with crutches. Coach Kelli Hill says she had to slow Kupets down because she wanted to progress faster than her body would let her. Two months later, Kupets was ready to start working on her new, more dynamic floor routine. Kupets has a six-inch scar on her heel from surgery. She says she doesn't worry about getting injured again.
Off to school
Coached by Hill and Jen Bundy, who coached former U.S. Olympians Dominique Dawes and Elise Ray, Kupets will begin looking at colleges after Athens. In the fall, she will be a senior at Magruder High School in Rockville, Md. In addition to UCLA, Kupets says she is also interested in the University of Georgia, where her older sister, Ashley, already accepted a gymnastics scholarship.

Athletic family affair
Kupets comes from an athletic family. Besides Ashley, her brother, Mark, is a pole vaulter at the University of Pennsylvania. Her father, Mark, played football in college and her mother, Patti, cheered at Indiana State University.
